Startupbootcamp Fin Tech London 2016 chohort

Startupbootcamp was founded in 2010 in Copenhagen with the core idea of supporting the world's best entrepreneurs as they grow their startups. By 2014 Startupbootcamp had expanded to become the largest startup accelerator in Europe and one of the top 3 largest in the world. Deanna will lend her expertise to the selected startups, providing advice and counsel as these early-stage businesses prepare for their first contact with financial services firms which will help develop their product, validate their business model, secure pilot customers, and raise funding.

We’re delighted to announce Deanna Oppenheimer as a keynote speaker at Next Bank Silicon Valley on May 12th, 2016

Deanna Oppenheimer will share a global perspective from the boardroom about the issues and opportunities facing FinTech leaders–capital, regulation, strategic alternatives, risk and reward.

Deanna Oppenheimer is founder of CameoWorks, LLC, a global retail and financial services advisory firm.  From 2005-2011, she served in a number of roles at Barclays PLC, first as chief executive of U.K. Retail and Business Banking and then as vice chair of Global Retail Banking.

In 2010, she added the role of chief executive of Europe Retail and Business Banking. From 1985-2005, she served in a number of positions at Washington Mutual, Inc., with her last role as president of Consumer Banking, where she helped to transform the lender from a regional to a national player. Her non-executive director roles include Tesco PLC (Remuneration chair), the world’s third largest retailer and Tesco Bank, its banking subsidiary; NCR, a global technology company, Worldpay (Risk chair), a global payments company and Paris-based AXA, the second-largest insurance provider in the world; the Joshua Green Corporation, and Brooks Sports. In addition, the firm advises Bain & Company, E*TRADE, BECU, Finsphere, as well as several technology companies.
